Formed in March 2005, Salamander Energy is an independent upstream exploration and production company focused on Asia. It holds licences across Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Lao PDR and the Philippines. Salamander has over 100 employees, including a senior technical and management team with deep experience of the region, and has offices in London, Singapore, Jakarta, Ho Chi Minh City, Bangkok and Lao PDR.
