Rome Resources has boosted its resource at Kalayi by 32% to 460,000 tonnes. Grades were up by 10% and contained tin now amounts to nearly 7,000 tonnes. The company's consultants highlighted two zones in which further resources might be located, and it now looks as though a total of 20,000 tonnes of tin might be within reach. Pilar Gold is now just a few short weeks away from gold production at its operations in Brazil. 
The company is rehabilitating three old mines, and is aiming to be producing 40,000 ounces of gold per year in the immediate term, rising to 80,000 ounces in the medium term. There's also the prospect of a significant resource upgrade from the currently booked four million ounces, as the existing resource was done at a much lower gold price. A listing is also in the works, potentially on NASDAQ, more details of which will be announced in due course. Pilar's chief executive Enrique de Alvear joins Vox to tell us more.
