[[Tekmar Group|tekmar-group]] Secures €1 Million Contract for Offshore Windfarm Concrete Protection

Tekmar Group plc (AIM: TGP), a prominent provider of asset protection technology and offshore energy services, has announced the acquisition of a contract valued at approximately €1 million. The contract, awarded by a leading submarine cable contractor, involves the provision of concrete protection solutions for a significant European offshore windfarm project.

This contract marks the first order of its kind from an existing customer, signifying an extension of the ongoing relationship between the two parties. The delivery of the concrete protection solutions is scheduled to be completed within the calendar year 2026.

The contract award is a significant milestone for Tekmar, reinforcing its foothold in the European offshore wind market. It highlights the company's growing momentum in offering concrete solutions, a development that aligns with the strategic initiatives under Project Aurora. This project aims to enhance Tekmar's integrated platform, enabling customers to leverage its comprehensive asset protection and offshore energy services more effectively.

Under the terms of the contract, Tekmar will be responsible for the design and manufacture of concrete protection and stabilization solutions. These solutions are crucial for safeguarding the cables that form a vital component of the windfarm's infrastructure. Any disruption to these cables could lead to costly shutdowns and interruptions in power and revenue generation.

Richard Turner, CEO of Tekmar Group plc, expressed his satisfaction with the contract, stating, "Securing this contract marks another positive step in the delivery of our growth strategy. It reflects the ongoing success of the changes taking place within Tekmar, under Project Aurora, which has delivered a record level of backlog to date, driving additional throughput and operational efficiencies across the Company's existing capacity."

Turner further emphasized the company's market-leading position in Asset Protection Technology and the strength of its customer relationships. He noted the progress Tekmar is making in expanding its offerings to customers in the global offshore wind and oil and gas markets, with aspirations for its concrete solutions to achieve similar success as its established cable protection technology business.
