Tern plc rises 622% this year from 2.63p to 16.5p

Tern (TERN) FOLLOW is an investment company specialising in invests in tech companies in the UK that it believes will be attractive candidates for acquisition or IPO, with valuations between £1 million to £10 million.

The company mandate is to add value by increasing market penetration of its holding companies by improving sales and marketing strategies and improving capital efficiencies. It also has a mandate to take positions in capitalised market leaders with near term value potential.

It’s portfolio currently consists of Device Authority Limited, flexiOPS, FundamentalVR, InVMA, Push Technology Limited, Seal Software Limited and Wyld Technologies.
Its interim results released in September reported it had 30 June 2018 Net Assets of £13,942,757, which was a notable improvement, up from £10,787,236 in 30 June 2017.

Regal Petroleum rises 642% this year from 6.5p to 52p

Regal Petroleum (RPT) FOLLOW is an oil and gas exploration and production group based in London, with three 100% owned gas fields in North-East Ukraine. 

The company has 3 large cash generating assets, however it faces certain geopolitical risks in both the UK and Ukraine. However strong fundamentals have driven the price up despite struggling oil prices.

Its interim results released in September showed revenues of $24.6m, (1H 2017: $12.4 million), gross profit of $11.9 million, (1H 2017: $3.2 million) and cash generated from operations during the period of $13.1 million (1H 2017: $5.5 million).

Bushveld Minerals rises 449% this year from 8.4p to 46.75p

Bushveld Minerals (BMN) FOLLOW is a vertically integrated vanadium producer that supplies more than 3% of the global vanadium.

The company remains one of the lowest cost vanadium producers in the world, with H1 operating costs of ZAR248.4/KgV (US$20.2/KgV).

It reported revenues of £52.1m, profit after tax of £21.1m (H1 2017: £1.1 million) and consolidated Free cash flows of £10.2 million (H1 2017: (£1.4million)).

SalvaRx Group rises 294% this year from 20.75p to 83p

SalvaRx Group (SALV) FOLLOW is a drug discovery company focused on cancer immunotherapy and complementary areas of oncology.

During the year a proposal was made to dispose SalvaRx Limited, the holding company for all of SalvaRx’s investments and business interests, for US$67.5 million via the issue of new Portage Shares (Canadian listed). An AGM is to be held on 8 Jan 2019 to approve transaction. 

The acquiring company Portage has strong track record, having listed Biohaven, the 2nd largest biotech IPO, a premium of over 250% to the current market valuation of SalvaRx at time of announcement.
